The School of Economics and Management has been named a "2025 Laboratory Safety Excellence Awardee" by Wuhan University's Office of Laboratory and Equipment Management. The recognition follows a rigorous evaluation process including self-assessment, on-site inspections, and committee review.

This honor reflects the School's strong commitment to laboratory safety throughout the year. Under the guidance of university authorities and school leadership, EMS implemented comprehensive safety protocols tailored to humanities and social science labs, focusing on waterproofing, electrical safety, fire prevention, security, and data protection.
Key achievements include maintaining zero safety incidents, establishing formal lab safety courses integrated into the curriculum, and earning recognition during Safety Education Month.
Moving forward, EMS will build on this recognition to further enhance laboratory safety management, providing robust support for teaching and research activities.
